Professional Engineer input
Professional engineering for crane foundations and supporting structures can be provided through PE Consultants Pte Ltd, a Singapore civil and structural engineering consultancy. Design is based on manufacturer loads for the relevant configuration and load cases, together with ground investigation or structural information for the support.
In Singapore, tower crane foundations and supporting structures are subject to Professional Engineer design requirements under the Workplace Safety and Health framework administered by MOM. Requirements in Malaysia and Indonesia differ and are confirmed for each project. [TO CONFIRM: PE registration arrangements for Malaysian and Indonesian projects]

Frequently asked questions
Can you design crane foundations?
Crane foundation design by a Professional Engineer can be provided through PE Consultants Pte Ltd, subject to appointment, project-specific review and adequate design information such as manufacturer loads and ground investigation data. See Engineering & Installation.
Do you provide crane erection and climbing support?
Erection, dismantling, climbing and tie-in planning or coordination may be included where agreed in the scope. The extent of our role, and who carries out each activity, is confirmed project by project.
Do crane inspection requirements differ between Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia?
Yes. Each country has its own legal framework, authorities and procedures for crane registration, inspection, testing and certification, and requirements also depend on the crane type and its use. In broad terms, Singapore's framework is administered by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM); in Malaysia, the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH); and in Indonesia, requirements depend on the sector, including MIGAS oversight for oil and gas activities. The applicable requirements are confirmed for each project.
Does engaging cranes.sg guarantee authority approval or statutory certification?
No. Approvals, registrations and statutory certifications are granted by the relevant authority or authorised party in each jurisdiction. We can support the technical and documentation work agreed in its scope, but cannot guarantee any approval or certification outcome. Neither PE Consultants Pte Ltd nor CRCC 11 is a regulator or certification body.
